Description:
The Project will help 10 - 25 young people, (Explorer Scouts), learn about 100 Years of Scouting history by helping them explore and discover the heritage , not only on a local level but on a national level during the important year of 2007, our centenary year. The grant will help us to buy the equipment, such as cameras, computer, software, display boards, training in how to use the equipment and in how to conduct oral interviews and visit places of interest to such as Gilwell Park, Scout HQ, Brownsea Island, were scouting all began, as well as speaking to local experts in heritage and history.
